Launch Exchange started out of a collaboration between three partners. Our goal was to enhance the social enterprise ecosystem in Michigan, starting with Detroit. As we began to develop the concept we uncovered a real need. As emerging entrepreneurs ourselves, we struggled to find help and real-time support to grow our ideas into reality.
Launch Exchange has quickly become an opportunity for us to share our collective experiences with entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and existing businesses in hopes we can continue to fan the fire of social enterprise and improve the climate for socially conscious companies in Michigan.
The first of our efforts through Launch Exchange is to provide unique consulting and coaching opportunities to organizations of all shapes and sizes. We found opportunities working with larger companies who are already engaging in corporate social responsibility and want to take it a step further, nonprofits who want to build out an enterprising initiative to sustain their operations, and startup companies looking to grow into a successful social enterprise.
The second of our efforts through Launch Exchange is to provide quality content to anyone who wants it. We host regular Meetups, workshops, and events. We simply want to improve access to information sharing.
Lastly, we have a vision for a coworking space for entrepreneurs, freelancers, remote workers, and companies that seek to provide socially conscious business environment. This space will provide opportunities for members to not only work on their impact as a business, but as an individual as well. Stay tuned as we move forward on the coworking space!
